Resume:

Xiaowei Chi, Researcher, Doctoral supervisor. Prof. Chi received Ph. D degree at Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2014. During 2014-2018, he conducted postdoctoral research at University of Oakland and University of Houston, USA, where he mainly focused on the study of interfacial electrochemistry and solid-state/aqueous batteries. He obtained the support from the CAS High-level Talent Program and Shanghai Pujiang Talent Program at 2018 and 2019, respectively. In the fundamental research area, he has published more than 50 papers on the journals of Nature Commun., Joule, Energy Environ. Sci., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Energy Mater., and etc., of which many scientific research achievements were specially reported in the authoritative journals or media, such as Nature Energy, Science News and etc. In the engineering application area, he has applied for more than 20 patents and one PCT patent, including cathode, anode, separator, electrolyte, battery structure and ect, and successfully promoted the technology transformation of the aqueous zinc-ion batteries.
