Resume:

Yu Yun, PhD, Professor. She is currently the director of Special Inorganic Coating Research Center of Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SICCAS), member of the Academic Committee of SICCAS, board member of the Chinese Society of Space Science (CSSR) , board member of the Shanghai Society of Astronautics (SSA). Her research interest is in special inorganic coatings and thermal protection materials for spacecrafts. She has published more than 40 papers and authorized more than 20 patents. Some of her research results have been successfully applied to Chinese spacecrafts. She was awarded the honorary title of the "Outstanding Contributor to Chang'e-3 Mission of Moon Exploration Project".
