Resume:
Xiaofeng Xie is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Shanghai Institute of Ceramics. In July 2018, he was selected as a young and middle-aged academic and technological leader in Jiangsu Province, and in December 2019, he was selected as a talent for entrepreneurship and innovation in Jiangsu Province. Long term focus on the design of nanocatalytic materials, research on catalytic mechanisms, and application promotion. Innovatively proposing a low-temperature induced crystallization method to prepare photocatalytic composite sol, the product has excellent characteristics such as efficient catalysis, visible light sensitivity, and photoinduced superhydrophilicity. As the project leader, he presided over more than 20 projects including the National Key R&D Plan, National Natural Science Foundation of China, STS Project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Science and Technology, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and Inner Mongolia Department of Science and Technology, with a total amount of over 30 million yuan. Develop one national industry standard, two group standards, and authorize more than 30 patents. Collaborating with leading enterprises in the industry, such as Datang Group, Mengneng Group, Yashi Group, Dongpeng Group, launched a series of new products based on photocatalytic applications, completing dozens of projects such as photovoltaic efficiency coatings, functional coatings, ceramic tile sanitary ware, and self-cleaning glass, with an additional economic benefit of 200 million yuan. He is currently serving as committee member of the Fujian Provincial Key Laboratory and a director of the Yellow-Sea Carbon Neutrality Research Institute.
