Professor Hangrong Chen received her Ph. D degree in Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2001. She is a full professor in Shanghai institute of Ceramics (SIC), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) since 2006. She also is a team leader of porous and functionalized nanomaterials group. She has received the China National Funds for Distinguished Young Scientists in 2012. Her research interests are mainly focused on inorganic-based nanomaterials for biomedicine and catalysis science areas, including development of intelligent-responsive theranostic nanoplatforms, novel drug delivery systems, imaging nanoprobes, and photo/electro-catalytic reduction of CO2 etc. She has published more than 300 SCI papers, 6 book chapters, and 30 Chinese patents authorized. Her publications has been cited for more than 18000 times by other scientists, with h-index 73. She has rewarded 2 items of first-class award of Shanghai Natural Science, and one item of the second prize of National Natural Science Award.
