Resume:
Zhiguo Yi was born on March 29, 1977 in Yun county, Hubei province, China. He obtained his Ph.D of Materials Science in July 2006 from the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics (SIC), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). After a bit more than four years postdoc training in Japan and Australia, he joined the Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter (FJIRSM) in 2011 via the 100 talents program of CAS. From January 2018 he moved back to the SIC-CAS. His main research interest spans materials physics and chemistry especially those involving ferroelectrics and photocatalysis. He has published more than 120 papers in internationally refereed journals such as Nature Materials, Nature Communications and Advanced Materials, etc. He is currently a standing member of the committee on key materials for electronic components and an editorial board member of the journal of photocatalysis.
