Chen Jian, researcher of Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, member of the "Advanced Carbide Ceramic Materials Innovation Team" of the "Innovation Talent Promotion Program" of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and one of the pioneers of 3D printing silicon carbide ceramics. For the first time, the method of preparing silicon carbide ceramics by high-temperature fused deposition combined with reaction bonded 3D printing was invented, which solved the problem of low mechanical properties of 3D printing silicon carbide ceramics with more silicon content, and broke through the preparation problem of 3D printing pressure less sintered silicon carbide ceramics. Three ways of linear conductivity of silicon carbide conductive ceramics were proposed: percolation, preheating and voltage control; For the first time, laser additive manufacturing of optical dense layers on the surface of silicon carbide ceramics and composite materials is realizedHe has won many awards and honors such as the first prize of technical invention of China Building Materials Federation, China Manned Space Outstanding Contribution Collective, Shanghai Model Worker Collective, etc. He is currently a member of the Professional Committee of the Additive Manufacturing Materials Branch of the Materials Research Society and a young editorial board member of the Journal of Ceramics.
