China-Morocco-France 2019 International Symposium of Research and Application of Functional Oxide Electronic Ceramics (2019ISFOEC) was successfully held in the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SICCAS) from June  11th to 14th, 2019.

The symposium was co-organized by SICCAS, Shanghai Acoustics Laboratory, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IACAS), and Shanghai Acoustical Society (SAS). Prof. Guorong Li, the vice director of Key Laboratory of Inorganic Functional Materials and Devices at SICCAS, was the chairman.

Prof. Guorong Li presided over the opening ceremony. Prof. Changqing Hu, chairman of SAS, and Prof. Jianhua Yang, vice director of SICCAS delivered welcome speeches respectively.

With the theme of “Functional Oxide Electronic Ceramics”, the symposium covers 5 main topics, i.e. Preparation and Microstructure Characterization of Functional Nanomaterials，Preparation and characterization of functional oxide electronic ceramics (including 3D), Application of High Performance Electronic Ceramic Sensor and Energy Storage Technology，Ferroelectric materials and devices and their applications，and Present Situation and Prospect of Functional Oxide Electronic Ceramics.

The symposium attracted over 40 experts, researchers and students from China, Morocco, France, USA, Japan, Hongkong SAR. During the symposium, they exchanged their research progress and shared the research experience. It also invited the world-renowned experts to give the oral presentations on piezoelectric materials and applications, optical properties and energy materials, spectrometry, nano fabrication and applications, theoretical investigations, electronic ceramics and glass, etc.

In addition, the poster session and the lab tour were organized. The attendees visited the laboratories at IACAS and SICCAS.
