“2009 Statistical Data of Chinese S&T Papers” was released by Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China on November 26, 2010, Beijing, and the papers’ quality instead of quantity was paid more weight in the evaluation system.

According to this statistics, SICCAS’ 536 papers indexed by SCI (from 2004 to 2008) were cited 2562 times for year 2009, ranks the 4th in the Chinese research institutes, and 61 were reputed as well-cited papers, ranks the 10th. Accumulatively, from year 2000 to 2009, SICCAS’ 2094 papers indexed by SCI were cited 20543 times, taking the 7th place in the institutes.
