
Prof. Lidong Chen, Team Leader. www.researcherid.com/rid/F-2705-2010 He received his B.S. from Hunan University in China (1981) and Ph.D. from Tohoku University in Japan (1990). Since 1990, he had worked in Riken Corporation (Chief Engineer), National Aerospace Laboratory, Tohoku University (Associate Professor) and University of Michigan (Visiting Scholar). He joined Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SICCAS) as a professor in 2001. He had Served as deputy director of SICCAS from 2004 to 2013. At present, he is the director of State Key Lab of High Performance Ceramics and Superfine Microstructures and the Co-Editor-in-Chief of npj Computational Materials. His research activity has majorly been focused on the design, synthesis and characterization of thermoelectric materials, as well as the integration of thermoelectric devices.
