Dr. Zhifu Liu is a professor and deputy director of Information Functional Materials and Devices Research Center, Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SICCAS). He received his BSc and MSc in Material Science and Engineering from the University of Science and Technology Beijing, China, in 1998 and 2001, respectively, and his PhD degree in Material Science and Engineering from Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2004. He worked at Accelergy R&D Center (Shanghai) Co. Ltd as a Research Scientist from 2004-2006, at University of Toyama, Japan as VBL Research Fellow from 2006-2008, and NEDO Research Fellow at National Institute of Advanced Industry Science and Technology (AIST), Tsukuba, Japan from 2008-2010. He worked SICCAS since 2010. His research interests includes microwave dielectric materials, low temperature cofired ceramics (LTCC) technology, multilayered components and integrated devices, wireless sensors and actuators, lead-free piezoelectric ceramics. He published more than 90 peer-reviewed journal papers, and is the inventor of more than 30 patents/patent pending.
