Dr. Shaorong Wang Dr. Shaorong Wang got his bachelor degree and Master degree in 1983 and 1986, respectively, all in the Department of Chemistry, Chengdu University of Science and Technology. He worked in the same department as a teacher after graduation till Oct. 1994, when he went to Japan for PhD degree study. In Japan, he studied the fundamental properties of ceria based electrolyte and anode, and also lanthanum cobaltite based cathode, aiming at intermediate operation of solid oxide fuel cells. He also experienced a post doctor research in NEDO project, and two years teaching staff in Nihon University. In 2003, Dr. Wang returned to China and started his research on planar type intermediate temperature SOFC stacks in Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SICCAS). As the SOFC group leader there, He has experienced the research work on various materials, such as anode supported electrolyte film, alloy separator, glass ceramic sealants, etc. The total scientific publications numbers over 80, including patents, journal papers, and presentations in international conferences. |
