Head of the Office of Strategic R&D Planning of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy of Korea, Hwang Chang-Gyu (former CTO, CEO, President of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.), and his twelve-member delegation visited the SICCAS Campus on Nov 26, 2010.

The Korean delegation was welcomed by Prof. LIU Yan (the Deputy Director of SICCAS), Mr. ZHANG Jiansheng (the Deputy Chief of SICCAS R&D Center), and Prof. ZHAO Jingtai (Head of CAS Key Lab of Transparent and Opto-functional Advanced Inorganic Materials).

Both parties share the expectation to cooperate in the R&D fields of materials development and applications, and a Memo of Understanding for Scientific Cooperation was signed, following the deep discussion and lab tours.
